Yes, we want those tiles!

Yesterday, we visited a mosaic factory, to see the different tiles they produce and get the know the production process. It was amazing! Each and every piece is handmade. Because the tiles are made of cement, they don’t need to be baked in an oven but they just dry in the open air. That makes the process relatively fast.

You can literally pick any design and color you want. In fact, you can even have your own design made. We became fans instantly!

We’re gonna share a little secret with you. We are thinking about putting the tiles on the ceilings of the rooms, instead of the floor or walls. It looks like we’re the first ones to use the tiles in this way… ssshhtt.
(Of course, we checked and double-checked with several professionals if the ceilings are gonna hold the tiles, so don't worry about that if you lay in your Corazón bed admiring our pretty ceiling.)
