We heart our jacaranda tree

Sorry people, for bringing it up again. We don’t mean to bore you, or make you jealous, but we just LOVE (💖) our jacaranda tree. It’s majestic, and it’s old. Probably between 50 and 70 years. It is about 15 to 20 meters high and its crown covers half our premises. Meaning, it gives a lot of shade which is perfect.  

They say the purple jacaranda is one of the most beautiful blooming trees in the world. We second that! It is certainly going to be the eye catcher of the hotel and gives the garden the feel of an oasis in the city.

Therefore we try to protect it well from all the construction work that is going on right now. Our workers put a nice fence around it, so that no one can put heavy materials close to the trunk or on top of the roots, or even use the tree as a wardrobe. Hopefully the jacaranda loves us back for that purpose! Even if it’s just a little…
